Welcome!
My name is Rebecca Schwarzentraub and I am the speech-language pathologist at Wentworth Intermediate (and Wentworth Junior High). The 2021-2022 school year will be my eleventh year working in District 155 and my eleventh year as a certified speech-language pathologist.
I absolutely love what I do and love seeing the progress my students make. They continue to amaze me daily with their hard work and focus.
A little about me personally...
- I got married in July of 2017 to my amazing husband Adam. Some students (and staff) still call me by my maiden name, Goddard, which is a lot easier to pronounce than Schwarzentraub.
- I had my daughter, Josephine in November 2019. She is a funny, smart, silly, sassy and goofy little girl!
- When I was in grade school, I attended speech therapy to remediate my /r/ sounds. I often share this with my students so they know that a little hard work and dedication and they too can not only correct their speech errors, but they can also become a speech-language pathologist when they grow up!
